"Is health a fundamental human right? If so, who is responsible for guaranteeing it?"
That is one of the many questions I will seek to answer during my Global Health study abroad semester. Global health problems can move across national borders and are of such magnitude that they have global, political, and economic impact.
That is why I believe it requires comparative study and that is why I'm leaving my comfortable life to pursue a human understanding of the challenges and triumphs of health and community. Where to?
